Does Kate Upton Want Justin Verlander to Retire? She Answers

Justin Verlander has officially notched an official World Series win with the Houston Astros.

The Astros' team dominated their rivals the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday (Nov. 5) and was awarded the prized trophy.

Verlander was back with the Astros in the 2018 season,

aged 39 after being unable to play in the 2021 season due to surgery.

Verlander had a remarkable season that saw him go 18-4 with an impressive 1.75 ERA and 185 strikeouts.

Fans were ecstatic about the win However, Verlander's wife Kate Upton, was really happy.

Fox MLB television asked Upton whether she would like to have Verlander retire now that he's at the top of his game and has achieved many things.

What did she have to say? "I am awestruck watching my husband perform what she loves...to observe him at work on his job.

 He's a true artist in the world when he's pitching" Upton said (via Sports Illustrated). It is a sounding "no."
