Ezra Miller speaks out: "The Flash star is being treated for "complex mental health issues'

Ezra Miller is speaking out about their recent arrests and allegations of assault and abuse all over the country.

In a statement released through USA Today on the morning of Monday,morning "The Flash" star,

who is nonbinary and uses them/them pronouns, stated that they are looking for treatments to treat "complex mental health issues."

"Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment," Miller stated.

"I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior.

I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life."

Variety became the first magazine to cover the new information.

Miller was arrested in March. Miller had been detained at the border of Hawaii in Hawaii

for disruptive conduct and was detained again in April for allegations of assault. Then,

in June Miller had been accused of having a sexual relationship with an 18-year old activist by the parents of the teenager.

Recently, Miller was charged with criminal break-in in Stamford, Vermont, according to an Vermont State Police report published on Aug. 8.
