"Another World" and "One Life to Live," passed away. She was 49.
The information about Griggs' death was announced in an announcement posted on the page of her facebook on Saturday.
"Hi everyone, With a heavy heart, I am saddened to announce Robyn's passing," the statement reads.
"However, she is no longer suffering and would want us to remember that and the good memories."
The statement went on to say: "I will never forget the way she was open to sharing her story and was willing to help her tell her story.
She wanted to help other people and share the message of her story in order to help others. The honor was mine to be able to do this.
For my friend's sake, I cherish you and smile every time my thoughts turn to you."
